What is the iEdufy Tutoring Merit Scholarship?

Congratulations to the winner of the 2022/23 iEdufy Tutoring Merit Scholarship, Emma Chang!

Emma graduated from Fraser Heights Secondary School in Surrey, BC. In secondary school, she was a student who not only excelled at academics, but was also greatly involved in contributing to her school community as the vice-president of the Red Cross club and Editor-in-Chief of the school-wide newspaper. In the larger community, she fosters curiosity for marine life as an aquarium talk host. This year, Emma will start studying science the University of British Columbia. Emma's goal is to become a pediatrician to engage in medical research and raise awareness for existing faults in modern medicine.   

 


About the Award


The iEdufy Tutoring Merit Scholarship aims to recognize and support well-rounded students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their academics and community and also intend to make a difference in this world. This scholarship would not be possible without the dedication of iEdufy Tutoring Co.'s tutors and the support from our clients. 

 

The scholarship will be awarded directly to the student to help pay for their tuition, living expenses, school supplies, etc. 

 

Value of Award: $750

Deadline: June 30th, 2023 @ 11:59 PM PST

Application Eligibility

Citizenship: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident - proof required
Residence: Must live in British Columbia, Canada and currently be attending a secondary school - proof of residence required 
Secondary School Academic Average: at least 80% - official transcript required
Post-secondary Enrollment: Must be starting at a university or college for the first time in September 2023 - proof of acceptance/enrollment required

Please e-mail the following materials in PDF format to info@iedufytutoring.ca

Proof of citizenship or permanent resident status (ex. passport, PR card, birth certificate) 

- Proof of residence in British Columbia (ex. driver's license, utilities bill, BC health card) 
- Official transcript 
- Acceptance/enrollment letter to post-secondary institution including applicant's full name and institution's signature.  

 

In your e-mail, please state your first and last name as submitted in STEP 1 of this application.  

 

An award recipient will be chosen and contacted by the end of July, 2023.
